Bio from the Front of the Book: "Ellen Yack has practised as an occupational therapist since 1979 and has a Masters Degree in Education. She is the Director of Community Paediatric Therapy Cenre, a private agency providing occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families. Her areas of expertise include sensory integration, autism, and learning disabilities. Eileen has been a lecturer at the University of Toronto, conducts a variety of wokrshops and presentations and has published in her field. Ellen was the Registrar of the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists between 1987 and 1991. Ellen provides a variety of consultation services to individuals and organizations through her private practice. She is currently the occupational therapy consultant at the Geneva Centre for Autism in Toronto, Canada. Ellen lives in Toronto with her husband Irv Marks and children Lia, Michael and Robbie."
